Nothing new to report

I havn't blogged for awhile because there's nothing new to blog about. I'm finishing preparations for the baby shower I'm throwing. I finshed the blanket and some other stuff. I have also been reading Anne Rice's Blackwood Farm. I don't know what I'll knit on next but I think it will be a scarf for my Mom. Happy knitting

Stressed out

I haven't blogged lately because work has got me stressed out. I'm a preschool teacher and my center is going through the process for accreditation by N.A.E.Y.C (the National Association for the Education of Young Children) It's a really big thing to get accreditation and the pressure to get things right is getting to me. I have made great progress on the current baby blanket, I'm almost done with it. My birthday was last Friday and I got a perpetual calendar on knit stitches. It's really cool. Nothing new

The baby shower I planned for work went very well. My friend Charla really liked the blue shell baby blanket, hat a booties. Things are starting to calm down a little at work. I have to hurry an finish the other baby blanket because the woman I'm making it for due date has been moved up. I haven't blogged lately because I haven't felt well and also have become obsessed with a game called puzzle inlay. Well happy knitting.

I noticed this spider web while taking the picture of the flowers. With out the camera flash the web just looked like a shadowy hole. I'm deathly affraid of spiders but I think this is a neat picture. I tried to zoom in on it but it didn't come out right.

This is my new bike and bike helmet. I look like a dork in the helmet. But everybody looks like a dork when wearing a bike helmet. 

New pictures

I finely got around to taking some pictures and I'm gonna try this new button on the blogger post thingie.  I got a new bike.  I tried to ride it to the library (about a mile or two away) I got about a quarter of a mile away and had to turn back.  Oh well at least I tried.  I just hit the photo button on the blogger thingie and it is bullshit.  It just tells you to use Hello to upload your photos.  Photo's will follow.  Happy knitting.

A new post!

I haven't felt like blogging lately.  I haven't felt well.  My sinuses.  I even missed the knitting meetup on Wednesday.  Progress on the baby blanket is going well.  It's to the point that it's long enough to make me feel that I've done something but not so long as to be cumbersome.  I took Mikey and Molly to the vet today.  My brother John helped.  When we where paying for some reason Mikey nipped John on the face, smacked him upside the head and then hissed at him.  I don't know why Mikey dislikes John but this isn't the first time he's tried to bite him, and for some reason Mike always goes for John's eyes.  My friend Linda got puppies yesterday.  They are so cute.  I really don't have that much to say so happy knitting.

Uninspired

I feel uninspired. Well that's not really right. I think I'm too inspired. That is that I have too many things rattling around in my head that I want to do and I can't focus on anyone thing. I have made a little progress on the baby blanket. I was only able to knit on it today. Friday night I went shopping for the Baby shower we are throwing Charla from work. She is the one I knitted the blue shell pattern baby blanket for. Saturday I had to get tires on my car and had a migrane. Lots of fun! I really want to get a bike. I wanted to get one yesterday but I feel like I spent a lot for the tires I don't really need to be spending more on a bike. I also want to bid on some more yarn Queer Joe has up on ebay. But again I have spent too much money. I want to do/buy a lot of things but my practical side is over-rulling me. I also want to knit hats for charity, blankets for the critter-knitter project and a sweater for my self, but I feel that I need to finish the baby blanket first. So I guess I should stop whining and get on with the knitting. Well happy knitting.

Tired and grumpy

My work hours have been different each day. This has left me tired and grumpy. In turn I havn't felt like blogging and no progress has been made on the baby blanket. Also what happened to the damn spell-check feature on the posting thingie? Happy knitting.
